Superyacht Refit Season Starts Early at Oceania Marine Shipyard

Within the Oceania region the majority of Superyacht refit work occurs during the Southern Hemisphere Summer. This coincides with the tropical cyclone season in this part of the world and is the off-season for charter. So, with two months before the official start of the cyclone season it is a great opening to Oceania Marine’s ‘White Boat’ refit season to see the arrival of the first project.

First up is a motor yacht for full antifouling application, topside and superstructure paint repairs, and survey. She was hauled out on the 800 tonne cradle and rolled into Paint Shed C at the head of the slipway for painting by Oceania Marine Coatings under controlled conditions
