Back To work At Oceania Marine as COVID-19 Alert Is Reduced to Level 3

Today, Tuesday 28th April 2020, Oceania Marine opens for business following 5 weeks of Lockdown under Level 4. New Zealand responded to the Government’s call and stuck to the rules resulting in a reduction in the incidence of C19 to the extent that a careful and highly restricted reduction in the lockdown is now possible. Oceania Marine has modified it’s existing Level 3 Plan and adopted Safe Working Protocols that comply with the new Level 3 rules:

  • Contractors, Suppliers and Customers can only come to the shipyards in compliance with the Oceania Marine Plan.
  • Anyone planning on coming to the shipyard must first contact Oceania Marine or Port Whangarei Marine Centre by way of email, webform or telephone for approval and specific instructions.
  • Slipway and Travel Lift are operational for haulouts will be undertaken pursuant to a specific plan for the operation on a case by case basis
