Oceania Marine Joins South Pacific Superyacht Season, Connecting With the Fleet Across the Region

As the South Pacific superyacht season gathers momentum, Oceania Marine is reinforcing its commitment to supporting vessels throughout the region with on-the-ground representation and world-class refit services.
In late August, Oceania Marine’s Tahiti Yacht Representative, Mike Raoult, attended the New Zealand Superyacht Networking Function hosted by NZ Marine at the prestigious Yellowfin Restaurant in Papeete, Tahiti. The event drew strong industry interest, with representatives from 13 superyachts, 11 leading marine companies, and over 70 attendees, including captains, yacht owners, senior crew, and marine professionals.
“The atmosphere was fantastic,” says Raoult. “It was a great opportunity to speak directly with yachts cruising the Pacific, answer questions about upcoming refit availability, and remind them that Oceania Marine is ready to support their next project as they head toward New Zealand.”

Oceania Marine operates a full-service shipyard in Port Whangārei, providing expert refit, maintenance, and marine engineering services to yachts up to 90 metres. With experienced project managers, a wide range of in-house trades, and undercover sheds, the yard is a preferred choice for many yachts transiting the Pacific.
As the season progresses, Oceania Marine will continue its outreach across the islands. Nathan Tomlinson, Yacht Support Agent, will travel to Fiji this month to attend the NZ Marine Fiji Superyacht Function and connect directly with vessels planning work in New Zealand during the 2025/26 season.
“With more yachts staying longer in the Pacific, early engagement is key,” says Tomlinson. “Whether it’s a haulout, survey, paint job, or full-scale refit, we’re here to help make the process seamless.”
