(for details of press release via Superyacht News follow link:  http://www.synfo.com/news/ocean_independence_new_zealand_16534.html ). Martin Gleeson Managing Director of Oceania Marine states: “I see this as immensely important and strategic to the New Zealand Marine industry because it establishes a direct conduit worldwide to charter, construction and refit business that might otherwise be difficult for us to access”.

The establishment of an office in New Zealand will provide services to yachts throughout the Oceania region from one of the worlds top agencies. On a recent trip to Tahiti Martin Gleeson witnessed first hand the increasing volume of yachts that are now moving through the Pacific (for photos of some of the yachts visited follow link:   http://www.flickr.com/photos/oceaniamarine/ ).  He says: “Recent industry research indicates that yachts coming to the region will continue to grow both in number and size making the requirement for direct representation by large professional yacht managers such as Ocean Independence all the more important”.

The move is of particular interest to Oceania Marine due to their close association with Diverse Projects as project partners in both construction and refit. Diverse Projects will continue to be very active in this field and through Oceania Marine can offer clients access to some of the best superyacht shipyard facilities available in Oceania.

We strive to ensure that scope, resources, time and cost are managed and executed to ultimate client satisfaction
