Superyacht “My Girl” Hauls Out at Oceania Marine Shipyard
Westport 50 metre superyacht “My Girl”has been hauled out at Oceania Marine Shipyard at Port Whangarei, New Zealand. She is scheduled for a two to three week maintenance stop, at the shipyard, where she will undertake her 5 year ABS survey as well as antifouling, minor waterline paint repairs and some general maintenance.
The yacht was launched in 2007 and is in great condition which bears testament to the lower cost of ownership generally attributable to composite construction, especially as
time passes. Jim Loynes, Oceania Marine Yacht Liaison, coordinated the arrival of the vessel at the shipyard – “We are very pleased to have “My Girl” visit our yard as it highlights the great facilities we have here for vessels of this class”. She joins two other refit projects currently underway at Oceania Marine.
